How to Install Coiled Pipe Markers?

Coiled Pipe Marker Labeling Instructions

Labeling Quick Steps: Align – Unroll – Position – Adhere -Seal

1. Find the Correct Pipe Marker: Refer to the corresponding module number and pipe diameter from the inventory list on each box to find the right piper makers.
2. Unroll the Pipe Maker: Gently unroll both ends of the pipe maker.Please note that there is no need to stretch it flat or bend it back, as the label is designed in a coiled format to fit the curvature of the pipe, making installation easier.
3. Position the Pipe Maker: Place the label naturally onto the pipe, adjusting it to the appropriate position based on the pipe’s size, and prepare for adhesion.
4. Apply the Pipe Marker: Once the position is confirmed, peel a small portion of the double-sided adhesive backing, align the label, and carefully remove the backing while smoothing the label onto the pipe. Continue peeling off the adhesive while pressing down to ensure the label adheres properly, avoiding air bubbles.
5. Seal the Edges: Similarly operation with above. Peel a portion of the edge seal to position it. Once aligned, continue peeling and pressing to ensure a smooth application. The edge seal helps protect the label’s interface from dust and ensures the adhesive bond remains intact.

Important Notes of Coiled Pipe Markers

• Keep hands or gloves clean and free of dirt during the labeling process.
• Avoid bending or creasing the label while applying to ensure the label remains in perfect shape on the pipe.
• Double-check label placement before peeling off the adhesive completely to avoid having to reapply, as this can cause creases.
