Offset Printing
Cost-effective and Ideal for Large Volume Production

Offset Printing
Compared with other printing methods, offset printing is unique in terms of principle, process and print quality. So what is offset printing of labels?
Offset printing is accomplished by utilizing the basic natural principle of the incompatibility of oil and water for printing purposes. The plate is made by using physical, chemical or electrical methods to create a blank hydrophilic part and a graphic lipophilic part on the printing plate, which are almost located in the same plane.

The plate is made by using physical, chemical or electrical methods to create a blank hydrophilic part and a graphic lipophilic part on the printing plate, which are almost located in the same plane.
Before printing, coat the printing plate with a wetting solution firstly, the blank part of the printing plate will form a layer of water film due to hydrophilic; And then coat the printing plate with ink, then form a layer of oil film on the oleophilic part of the graphic on the printing plate.
When printing, the water roller and ink roller to the printing plate alternately put on the water and ink, and the printing plate on the graphic part of the ink transfer to the rubber blanket, and finally transfer the graphic on the rubber blanket through the embossing to the substrate on the forming of offset printed products.
After multiple overprints with multi-color ink, the labels of color prints can be completed.
